Mathura Renery has always prioritized environmental
sustainability, even before its commissioning in 1982. The
renery set up four continuous Ambient Air Monitoring Stations,
showcasing its early commitment to environmental concerns.
Notably, it uses Natural Gas (NG) as fuel in its captive power
plant, further supplemented by three Gas Turbines (GT) and a
Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG). The renery's
dedication to preserving natural resources is evident in its water
conservation efforts, including 18 Rainwater Harvesting pits
across its premises, covering an area of 64,282 square meters.
