Since its inception, Haldia Renery's capacity has increased to
8.0 MMTPA. It is one of only two IndianOil Reneries that
produce lube oil. Key expansions include the addition of a
second Crude Distillation Unit (CDU) in 1997, the
commissioning of a Once-Through Hydrocracking Unit (OHCU)
in 2010, and a new Delayed Coking Unit (DCU) in 2020.
Notably, the renery recently introduced API Group III Lube Oil
Base Stocks (LOBS) and Low Sulphur Bunker Fuel (MARPOL)
products.
