                    aldia Renery, the fourth renery of Indian Oil Corporation
               HLtd., is located in the East Midnapore district of West Bengal                                                                                                                                                                                                            Haldia Renery is
               at the conuence of the Haldi and Hooghly rivers, 136 km from                                                                                                                                                                                                           IndianOil’s rst coastal
               Kolkata.  The  renery,  surrounded  by  landmarks  such  as                                                                                                                                                                                                             renery, strategically
               Mahishadal  Rajbari,  Gopaljew  Temple,  and  Haldia  Marine                                                                                                                                                                                                               located near the
               Drive,  was  inaugurated  by  Dr.  Triguna  Sen,  the  then  Union                                                                                                                                                                                                          Bay of Bengal.
               Minister for Petroleum & Chemicals. Commissioned in 1975 with
               a capacity of 2.5 million metric tons per annum (MMTPA), it was
               IndianOil’s  rst  coastal  renery,  established  with  technical
               collaboration  from  M/s.  TECHNIP-ENSA  of  France  and  M/s.
                                                                                          The humid and marshy terrains on the conuence of rivers Haldi and
               Industrial Export of Romania. The renery covers an area of               Hoogly that gave the state of West Bengal her first Petroleum Renery
               about 612 acres.
