Paradip-Haldia-Barauni Crude Pipeline (PHBPL) and Haldia-
Barauni (HB section) Product Pipeline. The Barauni Marketing
Terminal, commissioned on January 30, 1993, serves as a vital
distribution hub.
In addition to supplying LPG to Haldia-Durgapur section, this
pipeline also supplies LPG to Nepal Oil Corporation through the
Barauni-Muzaffarpur section of the pipeline. Through this
facility, LPG can also be supplied back to Barauni Renery from
PHDPL in case of LPG shortage during planned shutdowns or
unit interruptions.
For power generation, the renery is equipped with gas turbines,
